Back when Energon was cheap, we could count on leader class figures having some serious weight to them. Today's shot takes a look at one of the bigger and grander toys from the Super Link days of 2004. What fans dubbed "fattimus" Prime for his big body and skinny legs in his powered-down mode. Was more than made up for with his Super Modes combined with the Prime Force attachments from his trailer or in combination with Wing Saber. Yet, still offers decent articulation for such a big figure. Shown here is the Energon Optimus Prime Super Mode (left) and the Super Link SC-01 Grand Convoy combined with SC-17 Wing Saber to form Wing Convoy (right).
No Power Rangers envy in this Prime, at all. Nope. Not even a little.
