Daily Prime - Kabaya Convoy Milk Caramel Candy Toys

Just about every collector finds their way to the Transformers Candy Toys. They were made popular in Japan by the Kabaya company who miniaturized all kind popular toys to be sold cheaply packed a piece of candy. What later would become better known as Keshi (Decoys), these little rubber figures reused the same molds in different colors.

Our Prime shot today takes a look at a variety of colors and styles of the Kabaya Transformers Milk Caramel toys from 1985 that are said to be the first Transformers candy toys made. There were two styles of these figures, the ones in front with a raised fist had a huskier sculpt, and the others in the back that were a bit leaner looking are more reminiscent of the mainline Decoys that were produced in 1986.
