Anyone else get the feeling that this guy and Ransack got their names switched around somewhere down the line?
Vehicle Mode: Powerdive is an AH-64 Apache gunship. Measuring 13 cm(5") long, he's primarily pine green and black with purple for his weapons and large rotor and translucent red for his canopy. His launching rotor (red-orange or black) mounts (very loosely, sadly) atop his larger rotor like a radar attachment. Looking into the cockpit, one can see a tiny pilot and gunner moulded into the seats. Stickers reading "DC" are pasted on his sides and his tail fin features G2 Decepticon symbols and "RD-b93." 93 no doubt refers to the year that G2 was first released in North America. Powerdive also has a G2 logo printed on his large rotor, which spins freely.
Turning the small rotor clockwise and then pressing the yellow button at the rear of the launcher sends the rotor spinning upwards a good seven feet or more. In addition, Powerdive boasts two heavy machine guns and two six-barrelled rocket launchers for slagging his opponents.
Transformation: Fold down the gunship's tail, slide out and detach the launcher, swing the cockpit onto the upper torso, and flip out the fists and feet. The large rotor stores on Powerdive's back, held in place by his rocket launchers.
Robot Mode: Powerdive stands 9 cm(3.5") tall at the head in robot mode. His head is moulded to resemble a pilot's helmet, with a face mask and large translucent red eye visor. Combined with his dark colour scheme, it makes him look very menacing and deadly. Sadly, his articulation consists solely of shoulder joints and his lack of heel spurs causes him to fall over backwards unless he's holding his launcher.
Overall, Susp Sez: Though fun and well-detailed, Powerdive is probably the weakest of the Rotor Force toys due to his loose rotor and instability in robot mode. 7/10
