I must say that even for a repant, Galvatron looks awesome. IMO the color scheme is WAY better than Armada Megatron. Well, I guess I will start this review with the mini-con, Clench.
CLENCH: The minicon is a repaint of Megatron's Leader-1 mini-con. The color scheme is black and purple with golden missles. The color scheme was obviously made to macth Galvatron's (wow. big suprise eh?).
TRANSFORMATION: To Transform, simply hlf down legs and then fold up the missles. Then rotate arms. Simple
Well that raps up Clench. Now its on to Galvatron.
GALVATRON: Galvatron is Megatron reincarnated basically. In the old 80's movie he is turned into Galvatron by Unicron. He was made much more powerful and was just as ruthless as ever.
GIMMICKS: Galvatron has many gimmicks which you are already familiar with if you own Megatron. In tank mode a minicon can be attached to a little bar sticking up. Turn the bar a little and you get a machine gun sound. If you put a minicon on another spot, you can flip open a missle launcher that launches 2 missles complete with missle launching sound. Push back the gun barrel and it will make a firing sound. If you rotate the turret about 90 degrees, Galvatron will say "The Power is mine!" and then the noisees of the machine gun, gun barrel, and the missles will follow. Other gimmicks include a flip out ramp that holds 2 minicons, flip open flaps that can hld 3 min-cons, a minicon prison cell, and a fold out claw. In robot mode, you can attach a minicon to one of his arms and move it forward to reveal a knife. Also in robot mode, you can rotate the entire gun barrel and missle launcher section to the front of Galvatron's chest to use as a defense mode.
TRANSFORMATION: It is quite simple. Move the legs down and flip the feet pegs out and then rotate torso. Open the purple flaps on the front tire treads and pull out the arms. Push down the decepticon symbol to reveal head. Then rotate gun barrel and flip forward next to chest.
OVERALL: Galvatron is an excellent figure and one of the best Armada figures to date (Unicron stands in his way of superiority). I recommend him to any Transformer fan especially if you are a fan of Megatron/Galvatron.
