Insecticon - Energon - Figure

I picked up a few Energon figures the other day, and Insecticon was one of them, so here is my review of this awesome Terrorcon.

ERM..BEAST MODE?: for lack of a better term, Insecticon's beast mode is big and cool looking. You can even attach his weapon to his head, which if I do say so myself, is very nice. He appears to be the largest of the Terrorcons, and also the neatest.

TRANSFORMATION: Like most of the Basic figures, his transformation is simple. fold together his hind legs and then fold them down, twist torso around (this also twists his head around), and then fold up arms and twist then fold down his hands.

ROBOT MODE: Well, he is ummm, a midget. He is just tiny and quite odd looking with huge hands, yet he is still very cool. his weapons are a Quad-barrel blaster and a sword, which like other Terrorcons/Omnicons, can be combined. They form a larger blaster when combined, but I find his sword and blaster seperate to be better looking. The combined blaster can also be stored on his back, but looks rather silly. Also, he has his front legs hanging over his shoulders making them look like blasters, which are cool for added play. All in all it is still very nice although kinda strange looking.

OVERALL: Overall, Insecticon is probably the best of all the Terrorcons save Divebomb, who I think just looks awesome in both falcon and robot mode. Insecticon is still larger, the largets of them all at that, and his weapons are nice. He is an excellent figure and a solid buy. Go now, get him. 9/10
