Optimus Primal, stalwart commander of the Maximals developed his trademark valour and heroism during his role in the Beast Wars. Since returning to Cybertron, Optimus Primal takes on the new role, training his Maximals the methods of conversion-an art practically lost after the evil Megatron's virus wrecked havoc on Cybertron. In robot mode he weilds deflector arms, which store energy and then regenerate as energy shurikins. Jump jets on back allow for short-range flight. Has limited insight into the past and future. Can see and activate conversion potential in others.

Beast Mode:
In beast mode Optimus Primal is a technorganic gorilla. His chest is transparent blue, in side his chest is a transparent green Maximal spark crystal. His legs are black with transparent blue parts. His feet are blue. His shoulders are black with gold flames, the left with transparent green hair and an orange Maximal symbol. His arms are transparent blue with black arm armour and transparent blue fingers and thumb. His head is black with a gold face, green eyes and siver teeth. The top of his head is transparent blue.
Transformation: to robot mode
1.Flip open back
2.Flip back head
3.Close back
4.Flip open left arm
5.Detatch hair
6.Close left arm
7.Flip up lower chest
8.Twist arms
9.Fold down arms
10.Flip in fingers
11.Split beast mode waist

Robot Mode:
His torso is black and gold. His waist is black. His upper legs are black with gold flames and the lower legs are transparent blue. His leg armour is black with transparent blue parts and black feet. His arms are black with several transparent blue parts and transparent blue fists. His head is black with a gold part, transparent green eyes and a transparent green brain covered by a transparent blue visor. His only weapon is a green spinning star.
Overall:
Optimus Primal is a great toy, only flaws are his feet and hair in beast mode. I give him 8/10.
