Crosswise - Cybertron - Figures

I just picked up Cybertron Crosswise from the Walmart in Linden, New Jersey. He was on the pegs with the new Thunderblast, the two new animal Decepticons, a few Sideways and the rest of the old line...

He is almost like a small $10 dollar Alternator. The car mode reminds me of a sleek little Mercedes Benz, hugging curves and speeding through traffic. I am amazed at how well done his transform was in addition to the superb paintjob. (well, as aposed to Cybertron Megatron, Ugh!) This is the coloring I like. SIMPLE. Just find a color combination and stick to it. He is primarily black with light grey plastic. The details are colored gold, silver and a few touches of red. Oh, and the translucent plastic is a light pale green. It is his windows (in car mode) and his visor/shield in robot mode.

The articulation is fantastic! You can pose this figure in many great postions! Over 9 ball joints all ready to go.

My only small regrets are his weapon (wich is pretty much a reverse spoiler from his car mode), a little extra back kibble (wich if posed right can actually look like wings) and his attached shield (wich could come off via small phillips head screw, but it would leave him with a large open gash in his forearm).

Add a few more touches of red on his lower legs and he is on the road to becoming a most ruthless Decepticon warrior! Oooops, did I mention my biggest problem with this figure? He is an Autobot!

But other than that I hope you enjoy Cybertron Crosswise, or Stepper or Smokescreen or Autovolt.... Ha!
