Ultra Magnus Spychanger - RiD - Figure

Autobot Mode
Dealing with being a Spychanger seems to be easy for Magnus. At 3 3/4" long, 1 5/16" wide and 1 1/4" high, he very nicely matches his Super counterpart. Sadly, if it weren't for the mechanics used for his leg transformation, he could have possibly been made to fit a Spychanger on the inside as well as out. Of course, any Spychanger looks a bit out of proportion riding on top of him, but proportion's never been a big factor with Transformers toys.

His transformation is nearly identical to Prime. Extend the rear section back, slide out the wings, flip the cab back, stand robot and extend the arms.

Robot Mode
Now at a massive 4" in height (counting the wings), Ultra Magnus is ready to kick Decepticon Spychanger butt. Like Prime, he's articulated at the neck, shoulders, and hips (with the same hip movement). Moreso than Prime, Ultra Magnus really looks like a smaller version of his other toy. A lot of detail is given, though not painted, and his head is a near identical match.

So, what are you waiting for? Go out and buy the miniature version of the Autobot's take action 'bot. He's well worth the $5.00 price tag.
