The Studio Series display at Tokyo Toy Show had several items included, as seen in photos from Figsoku. But all of it matches up with the next assortment due out in the US any time now, and which we had covered just recently in a big batch of Studio Series stock photos. Unfortunately, TakaraTomy's display copy of helicopter Drift's robot mode had fallen over by the time the photographer got there, and we can also say that they did a valiant job of trying to obscure Hightower's body-horror of a robot mode.
Jetwing Optimus, confusingly, is shown with a more detailed robot chest than we'd been seeing of late, with more paint detail that the stock photos would have us believe. We aren't sure what to make of that; whether TakaraTomy has an outdated display copy, or if this indicates a late-in-the-game effort to improve the deco accuracy since the sample used to produce the stock photos was sent out. Hopefully we'll have this mystery cleared up pretty soon, since we're not too far off from the expected release date of the toy.
